Had a great afternoon with Lindsey & Nick on Tuesday! Lindsey & Nick will be getting married at Haigh Hall in September of this year and this was a fantastic chance to do a pre wedding photo shoot.

New for 2009 we now offer a Bridal Registry Service via our Client Area! Using our Client Area we can setup an account allowing for secure safe payments towards your wedding photography package.

Our Bridal Registry Service works much like the usual department store list except that family and friends contribute monetary amounts towards your wedding photography, allowing them to participate in the excitement of one of the most important days of your lives.

Once a couple takes advantage of this service they will receive a balance statement every time someone makes a gift payment towards their package.

Donna & Tremayne's wedding

Congratulations to Donna & Tremayne who were married on Saturday 4th April 2009!
The ceremony was held at Spotland Methodist church and then it was off to the reception at Rochdale Football Club (we manged to get the lads on the pitch for a few photos!)

We received a great testimonial from Nicola & Matt the other day regarding their wedding we photographed last year!
It was a pleasure for us to be part of their big day and a big thank you for taking the time to write such kind words!

“Amazing photographs and an amazing DVD! We never realised that anyone could make us look so good!
Rob met us two/three times before the big day, including once at the church, to discuss with us exactly what we wanted from him. Everything that was agreed happened to the highest of standards.
During the day, Rob and Dave worked tirelessly taking photos capturing every part of our special occasion – from the bride’s preparations to the first dance. They were very unobtrusive and yet got all the photos we wanted – and more!
Upon arrival at the reception, Rob and Dave created a slide show of the ceremony pictures – this was perfect for those who had not been able to attend the church and friends and family enjoyed watching it too.
After the wedding, the proofs arrived very quickly and they were all spectacular – making it difficult to choose which ones we wanted in the album. After we finally came to a decision, Rob put the photos together in the album digitally so we could make any necessary alterations – not that many were needed!
When it arrived, the album was amazing! Far more than we could have hoped for. We love the way that our album tells the story of the day, capturing many fleeting but special moments. Many people have said it is the best wedding album they have seen and the photos captured the whole day in minute detail. The DVD, set to music is amazing! It really brings back the special memories of our superb day!
Our day was so perfect! Tailored to our wishes and now we have the most wonderful way to remember it. Thank you very much to Rob & Dave, who were extremely professional and hardworking throughout.

Dave's photo with Robin Hood!

We needed a photo of Dave for the website to put in our "about section". Dave was keen to have his pride and joy on show; the car he made a couple of years ago (an immaculate Robin Hood kit car).

"Since retiring from full time employment I can now spend more time doing the things I enjoy. Like building a sports car ( a lotus seven replica). The car is based on a Ford Sierra, but since it is only half the weight the 2L engine from the Sierra gives fantastic performance!

Working with RDL photography has also allowed me to pursue my interest in photography. My philosophy has always been 'whatever you do, do it the best you can' and this fits exactly with the RDL style and the reason I enjoy the work plus weddings are a happy and colourful event - a photographs dream!.
